Intriguing and suspenseful; didn't want it to end. Read this book over a two day period since it was difficult to put down. Wow! AWESOME book!!! Had me hooked from beginning to end! I bought it and started reading it after work on a Friday night. I literally could not stop reading it; I couldn't put the book down! The suspense, the darkness, and all the twists had my palms sweating while hanging on to the edge of my seat! …I finished the book before the end of the weekend! I am now a huge fan of this author and can't wait to purchase her next book. I highly suggest reading this book if you are a fan of suspense novels!

Amazing read!! What an amazing book!! Psychological thrillers are naturally twist-filled mystery novels that make you unsure who to trust and The Sacrifice does that to a T! I really enjoyed the multiple points of view and the way the author kept me hanging on to every last word. When I mean I couldn’t put this down, I could NOT put it down! I like to read before bed, I’d read a few pages of The Sacrifice then tell myself, “okay last one then time for bed…” next thing I know it’s 1am! Run, don’t walk, to buy this book! Cannot wait to see what Caroline Steiger comes out with next!!! 5 stars!

I usually enjoy reading in bed at night before going to sleep. Unfortunately, in this case, I didn’t go to sleep until after four am as I was unable to put this book down. It was not what I expected, a captivating thriller with incredible plot twists and suspenseful story line that held the readers attention. Excellent read!
